Offered for sale is our family's 114-piece multi-generational collection of vintage Franciscan Desert Rose dinnerware, serving pieces, glassware and accessories.

The entire collection is being sold together as one lot and will not be separated.

This is not a recently assembled set. These pieces have been collected, used and enjoyed across generations of our family. As a result, the collection represents different periods of Franciscan production and includes a variety of vintage Franciscan backstamps, including numerous California / U.S.A.-made pieces.

Beyond the dinner service, this collection contains an extensive assortment of serving, entertaining and specialty pieces that have remained together as part of the family collection.

A MULTI-GENERATIONAL VINTAGE COLLECTION

One of the most interesting aspects of this collection is that it spans different periods of Franciscan production.

Multiple Franciscan backstamp styles are represented throughout the collection, including vintage Made in California / U.S.A. markings. Most pieces purchased at the factory in Pasadena, CA.

Rather than being a uniform modern set, the variations in markings and production are part of the history and character of this collection.

CONDITION

This is a genuine vintage collection that was used and enjoyed by our family over multiple generations.

Condition varies by piece and is consistent with age and normal household use.

Many pieces remain in very nice vintage condition with beautiful pink roses, green leaves and the dimensional hand-decorated appearance associated with Franciscan Desert Rose.

As should be expected with a collection of this age, some pieces exhibit crazing, surface or utensil wear, staining/discoloration, manufacturing variations and wear to the decoration.

There are also some individual pieces with chips, small edge nicks and other age/use-related imperfections. Examples of known condition issues have been photographed.

The collection is not represented as mint or flawless. Please carefully review all photographs, as they are considered an important part of the condition description.

Because this collection has remained together across generations, all 114 pieces are being offered together.

Individual pieces, place settings and serving pieces will not be separated or sold individually.
