A rare, cohesive set of 11 authentic mid-19th-century hand-colored lithographs from the celebrated \"France en Miniature\" series. Drawn by Isidore Deroy and printed by the world-renowned Lemercier in Paris, these plates capture the height of the Second Empire. Subjects Included: The Louvre, Arc de Triomphe, Versailles, Notre Dame (Hôtel de Ville), Place de la Concorde, The Panthéon, St. Cloud, Place Vendôme, La Madeleine, Palais Royal, and the Tomb of Napoleon. Artist: Isidore Laurent Deroy (1797–1886). Technique: Lithography on tinted stone with fine hand-applied watercolor. Dimensions: Each measures 10.5\" x 7.5\".
Condition Report: Consistent antique condition across the set. All plates feature a warm cream patina with light marginal foxing and edge-toning. The central hand-colored illustrations remain bright, crisp, and beautifully preserved.
