Can I use this 6E5 to replace other magic eye tubes?
6E5S / 6E5C / 6E5G: This tube will not replace 6E5S / 6E5C / 6E5G without a socket adapter or replacement of the socket in your radio. 6U5: If this tube is used to replace a 6U5, due to the sensitivity of the 6E5 vs the relative lack of sensitivity of the 6U5, you will experience excessive closure and overlap on very strong stations. It will NOT replace 1629; wrong number of pins and different filament voltage. These are really bright sharp eye tubes. Just check my response to see how past customers love this TOYO 6E5. A superb replacement for the weak, failing signal strength indicator in your radio.
