This listing is for a detailed 1/14 scale Cummins ISIX15 diesel engine and radiator for your Tamiya King/Grand hauler rig. Adding an engine in the engine bay brings the kit to an entirely different level. This engine is designed to slip over the electric motor filling the space with scale realism that was sorely missing in a kit as amazing as these are.The radiator slides onto the end of the frame with the coolant hoses connecting to the engine, perfectly integrating the two components.Included:

Steering servo mountThe steering servo mounting bracket is used so that the servo fits sideways into the space left over in front of the oil pan. This part integrates with the existing two screw holes that hold part of the bumper in place. The kit supplied shift rod is used for the steering. The shift servo is relocated to the space just behind the transmission using kit supplied servo mounts. I like to use a small or micro servo here but larger ones will work too. You will have to source or create your own shift rod for this servo. You can make this out of straight rod and bend them at the ends (like we all did back in the day) or you can order rods with threads at the ends in the size you need for your servo.The parts are 3D printed from the latest and highest resolution available (16K) giving you unprecedented engine details. The parts will arrive washed, rinsed and cured. They require a few minutes of sprue/support cleanup. The easiest method is to run warm water over it for 15-20 seconds and just pull all the supports you can get to with you fingers, 90% of them will pull off within the first few seconds. The smaller ones in the corners can be easily picked by using hobby snippers. Please note that due to the nature of printing and resin parts in general, sometimes there will be slight imperfections here and there. They can be fixed with putty or your favorite modeling tools or just left as is. (Any flaws in any of the engines in photos have not been fixed or touched up. This is how they come out so use these images as your guide. If any parts ever come out with anything more than minor, subtle flaws, then they won't be sold)It usually takes about 3-5 minutes to pull the supports out. At this point the model can be prepped for paint! You can go straight to paint or spend a few more minutes lightly sanding any nibs left over. Prep time for the red engine shown in the photos was no more than 10 minutes. On that engine, 2 light coats of grey primer, 3 light coats of red acrylic paint through an airbrush then a light coat of clear gave it a factory fresh but not overly glossy finish. Perfect for a semi truck engine bay. To bring out more of the details, there are several areas that can be painted black. The valve cover on the top and several different caps and various other parts are noted in images of real engines. There are two filters that can be painted white as well. I also noticed that some of the turbos are painted a bronze color. Finally, hit it with a light bit of weathering, with a medium grey wash and you have a show piece!
