Spine / Binding: The spine shows heavy stress wear and prominent splitting/cracking along the paper surface of the outer hinges as detailed in 3181.jpg.
Back Cover: Shows light handling soil and minor edge scuffing along the blue borders (3180.jpg).
Interior Pages: Pages are intact with a tight block, displaying uniform natural tanning/age-toning typical of 1950s pulp paper stock.
Notable Defects: There is a small hole/punched flaw that goes cleanly through the lower margin of the early pages (visible on page 15 in 3182.jpg and on the copyright page in 3186.jpg). It resides in the blank margin and does not obstruct the text readability. Additionally, there is a minor page split at the bottom gutter edge of an interior sheet near the end text block, as shown in 3195.jpg.
