CONDITION: The condition of the volumes is Like-new inside & out. It appears to me that they haven\'t been read. The rich gold page edges are bright. No names, no writing, no highlighting, no underlining. There are some minor marks on the Presented To page but it looks like that probably occurred while being printed. See photo. Top inner edge of at least 1 book is slightly pulled away from spine of exterior., see photo. Can be easily remedied with a smidgen of glue. I\'ve done that numerous times over the years. Overall, a beautifully maintained set. The cardboard box is in excellent condition with minimal exterior wear. The interior of the box has some colored marks from sliding books in/out as to be expected. All in all, a beautiful 45 year old set to add to any collection.
