6th Plate size Daguerreotype of a young very attractive couple. Nicely done tinting to their cheeks and gold touches to her finger ring and some flesh tones. Her dress is quite busy in design and she is holding a large book of some kind, He sporting longer type hair, clean shaved with his attire being very formal. He has a very alluring look like he wants to just eat you up. Full Swan case with repaired spine. No bad wipes but some tarnish around the mat edge and a small circle spot at the bottom left-hand corner. Case, when closed measures 3 5/8” x 3 1/4”
