Original 1950s atomic modern barkcloth fabric salesman sample booklet featuring a set of six panels measuring approximately 23" x 12". The fabric samples are bound together at the center with a riveted plastic placard with SSS logo and two additional rivets at the upper corners. All samples are heavily textured slubby cotton barkcloth material of the same design in six different colorways. Each sample panel has three serged sides and one selvedge side. The first sample is marked "Design Carefree, A Tower Vat Print Preshrunk" along the selvedge. Each sample has a paper sticker in the lower corner indicating the "Carefree" design name and color - avocado, sand, aqua, grey, blue & mocha. Nice vintage condition.
