Attractive vintage Catholic devotional and pilgrimage guide with a cream faux mother-of-pearl effect cover, gilt decoration and blue enamel-style NDL monogram bearing the motto “Dieu Seul.”
Presented in its original fitted box, which repeats the monogram inside the lid. The front endpaper has a handwritten First Holy Communion dedication dated 18 May 1939.
The book is in good vintage condition with age-related page tanning, light marks and a frayed ribbon marker. The outer presentation box has considerable wear, splits and losses around its edges and corners. Please examine all photographs carefully.
