antique UNDERWOOD CHAMPION Typewriter & Case in Good Working Condition*NEEDS MINOR REPAIRS*
The typewriter works well overall. There are some mechanical and cosmetic issues. The Front, Top, and Sides, all look very nice. The Back shows scratches and a large pushed in dent in the center. Two of the front rubber feet are dried out and have come off. The back rubber feet are dry but remain in place. The case is pretty good and functional with normal wear for its age with a masking tape sticker on the front with handwritten Old Typewriter.
All of the keys, spacebar, tabs, caps, are working. The caps lock only stays for one keystroke and then releases. The return arm moves well but it does not advance the roller drum to the next line on the paper, it stays on the same line. The left roller drum shaft knob is bent and there\'s a little bit of surface rust there. At some point, maybe it was dropped and resulted in the back plate dent and the bent shaft?
It looks really nice as is. The case is also pretty good as is. With some mechanical repair and cosmetic improvements it will be excellent.
