This is a gorgeous Antique Victorian Wilcox Quadruple Silverplate Domed Butter Dish - Model #3228. It is a beautiful piece of American Victorian history: an antique Wilcox Silver Plate Co. quadruple-plated domed butter dish, circa late 1800s (1878–1882). This piece features the Model #3228 frame, accented by an engraved interior tray scene depicting 4 bees flying.

This antique piece is in fair-to-good vintage condition with structural flaws noted for accuracy:
- Missing piece: This listing does NOT include the original butter knife but came with another antique one in its place
- Surface: Shows beautiful, aged patina, light wear, and some dings on one side of the bottom tray
There are also dings on the bottom of the tray. This wear is consistent with its approximately 140+ years of history.
