The custom holder keeps all six vials upright and provides stable, ergonomic access at the bench. Each dedicated position is permanently identified underneath, reducing the risk of mixing up lubricants during a service.
Its small-vial design allows careful direct pickup with a clean oiler as a practical exception(oil cups still preferred by purists)
Approx. 0.1ml per vial. For beginners and intermittent workshop use, this is generally more than enough: on the order of 50+ movement services, depending on calibre, lubricant and application method.
Reaching that level of use before expiry already represents substantial practical experience. Larger fills are mainly relevant to workshops servicing watches at high frequency. Otherwise, unused lubricant may age before it is consumed.
