Up for sale is a fascinating, 100% original lot of WWI Imperial German Army (Kaiserliche Armee) battlefield relics. All items were ground-found together in Latvia, presenting a genuine, untouched snapshot of a German soldier\'s combat equipment and personal items from the Eastern Front (1914–1918).This historically rich battlefield dig lot features:
  • Imperial German Uniform Buttons:
    • 2 Original Prussian Crown Buttons: Worn on the standard German Feldrock tunic, featuring a beautiful green malachite/bronze patina.
    • 1 Original Shoulder Board (Company) Button: Embossed with a clear number \"2\", used to indicate the soldier\'s company/unit.
  • Zeltbahn & Field Gear Hardware: A large group of 24 original three-hole dish buttons (a mix of early-war aluminum and late-war zinc variants) along with aluminum tent line adjusters/runners and a standard field-gear backpack hook.
  • Ordnance & Grenade Relics:
    • An original zinc bottom cap (Abschlusskappe) from a German Stielhandgranate (potato masher) grenade.
    • A heavy iron transport plug screw (Transportschraube) from a German M1913/M15 Kugelhandgranate (fragmentation grenade).
    • A heavy fragmented base piece from an exploded artillery shell.
  • Combat & Personal Gear:
    • A heavily crushed sheet-steel bayonet scabbard (Seitengewehr metal sleeve), flattened by battlefield pressure.
    • A rusted iron frame of a soldier’s folding pocket knife with a lanyard loop.
    • 3 fired lead bullet cores (shorn of their jackets upon impact).
  • Trench Life Artifacts: An original WW1-era clear glass octagonal apothecary/medicine bottle (field hospital type) with a smaller intact glass vial, an imperial-era copper 1 Pfennig coin, and an original German Universalkreme / Lederfett field tin lid.
