Beautifully preserved vintage 1956 Canon Cine 8-T 8mm movie camera kit. This historic camera is Canon\'s very first 8mm release and features a gorgeous twin-lens turret system. Perfect for vintage display, historical camera collections, or technical restoration!
Mechanical Condition:
Tested & Working Mechanism: The mechanical clockwork spring motor winds fully and fires smoothly when triggered.
The frame rate selector works, and the twin-lens turret clicks cleanly into position when rotated.
The interior film chamber is remarkably clean, showing zero rust, or old film scrap residue.
Please note: The camera has not been fully tested with a live roll of 8mm film.
Optical Condition:
Viewfinder: Clean and clear with only minor internal dust specks that do not block composition framing.
Lenses: Includes both the standard 13mm and telephoto 38mm prime lenses. Both show typical signs of aging, including internal dust and a moderate layer of haze common to vintage optics. The focus and aperture rings turn as intended.
Cosmetic Condition:
Excellent overall aesthetic condition for its 70-year age. Shows very minor paint wear along the edges. Please see the photos for a detailed look at the body, lens barrels, and clean internal bayonet mounts.
