This Halloween sweater vest is in excellent condition! The only real detractor from that is the fact that the original tags have been cut out. Because of this I am estimating the size. I believe it to be a medium. I have a collection of holiday sweaters and made this determination by comparing it to other sweater vests. I would consider this a medium. That being said I can\'t guarantee that\'s what the original tag said. Sweaters are also wonderful in that they fit a variety of sizes. They look cute baggy if they\'re a bit too big and they stretch if they\'re a bit too small. You can also shrink them in your dryer or make them bigger by gently stretching them when they\'re damp and letting them air dry. I have been a variety of sizes myself and have been able to wear all of my various sized holiday sweaters over the years without problem. But if the size is very important to you, you may want to go for one that has the original tag. That being said, I have included measurements and you could compare it to sweaters so that you have at home.
Approximate dimensions with the sweater vest laying flat, buttoned up: 20 in from armpit to armpit, 23 and 1/2 in from top of collar to bottom of sweater in a little closer to 23 and 1/4 in from shoulder to bottom of sweater. Again keep in mind that sweaters can easily be shrunk or stretched to accommodate sizes within a range.
On to the sweater itself! The pumpkins are made of a satiny material with embroidery. It features lots of spooky Halloween elements like candy corn, jack-o-lanterns, trick or treat, spider webs, and even a scorpion!! There is even a jack-o\'-lantern on the back to give a little extra holiday spirit. The black sweater has orange blanket stitch edging all around it. There are a few little loose threads as can be expected from a vintage sweater but everything is in very good condition. There are no rips, holes, tears, or stains that I can find. It is clean and smell free. Non-smoking, I do have cats, though not in my closet lol.
