Vtg 1960s MCM Koret of California Black Accordion Pleat High Neck Gothic Mod Midi Dress. We\'re nearing the end of our Halloween/Goth themed month at Sonoran Moon Vintage Miscellany, so there have been oodles of little black dresses. But if there were an awards system of some sort, this one would win Best All-Around. It\'s not the fanciest or most luxurious, but take a moment to think of an event you couldn\'t wear this to. Maybe it isn\'t red carpet ready, but short of that, it\'s pretty much always gonna be the perfect choice. It\'s definitely striking, with its sleek bodice spilling out into that fabulously wide accordion pleat skirt. And it\'s got heaps of mod glamor, from its high-necked to its unique and very fetching three-strand sash. And for all its incredible vintage chicness, this is comfy as heck, and washing machine friendly-- this dress may have uptown gal vibes, but it\'s not at all high maintenance. Perfect under blazers for amazing work ensembles, with lacy tights and statement lips for romantic autumn evenings, with docs and an army jacket in the pit of a punk show, with a pointy hat for a Bewitched-style Halloween ensemble, with ballet flats and a polka-dot cardigan for best friends\' brunches, with....well, you get the idea.
