Vtg 5 1/2\" Silverplate Footed Compote-Gorham YC3043-Scroll Design Rim For Sale

Offered is this silverplate footed compote, made by Gorham, pattern or item #YC3043. The piece has a round base, a stem that flares out and back in and a round top dish with a raised scrollwork design rim. I don’t know how old it is for but it is certainly old enough to be vintage. At the time of original listing I had two of these, identical in look and condition except for a few tiny dark spots of tarnish in the bowl of the second one (see last photo).Each compote is approx. 5 1/2” high, about 6\" across at the top and approx. 3\" across at the base. They are in very good condition. I see no dents or other damage to the metal and the plating is intact. As noted above, the second compote is the same except for a few tiny dark spots in the bowl (see last photo).Please take a moment to look at the other items in my store!
