Up for listing is my own Personal Collection this vintage 1970s Fisher-Price Little People Happy Houseboat, specifically set number 985.
Including it\'s ORIGINAL BOX that this Fisher-Price Play Family houseboat came in!!!😃
I collected this entire set because we own a nice 27-footer boat and enjoy sailing on the lake all spring and summer long. My kids loved this set but now, they are grown older and no longer need this Fisher-Price Boat set, and it is time to sell it......
But we\'re still keeping our big boat! 😃😉😉
***This iconic toy set originally included the following:
1) a floating plastic boat with yellow wheels for pulling with a yellow plastic string
2) Various Play Family figures, a set of 4 , including a captain, and mommy, a girl & a boy.
3) a yellow BBQ
4) a red picnic table with a lobster meal on it
5) 4 red dining chairs.
6) 2 yellow lounge/deck chairs
7) 1 Blue roof that sets over the boat for the deck chairs etc
8) 1 yellow life preserver
9) A little blue & white \"Skiff boat\" that can attach & sits on the back of the boat....
10) a yellow plastic string that is attached to the boat for children to be able to pull the boat along. As shown in the photographs the boat has four yellow wheels so that it can move on land as well.
***So these are all the wonderful things that came originally with the boat. I have it ALL!
Anyways.....The set features wonderful good looking lithograph decorative decals/stivkers, that are in great shape on the boat! Considering it\'s vintage 1970\'s age!!!
The lithograph stickers detail the interior and exterior of the boat.
****Here are the extra goodies that you get with my set as well:
******1) you get an extra life preserver, so you have two life preservers for either side of the boat ******
( do you know HARD IT IS to even find these! And they are sooooooo EXPENSIVE! I have TWO!) dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0;\">2) you get FIVE (5) extra figures, you get a Dad ( in green) An Xtra deckhand (all in blue), an elderly Captain deckhand in blue with a beard, a Grandpa in green as well, a family friend ( girl with red hair) and a family dog ( in a red collar).

*USPS rates have increased dramatically for 2026. Just saying... This Happy Houseboat Set is almost a foot long and almost a foot wide and it is costly to ship.... but it is also a great Mint like item i am selling...So very worth it!😃
