Up for sale is an incredibly rare, flawlessly preserved mid-century modern luncheon/bridge table set. Sourced from a pristine estate in Saratoga, California, this set is in "Time-Capsule" condition. It appears completely unused, retaining its original crisp factory sizing starch and sharp storage folds.
The tablecloth features a striking, vibrant multi-tonal red and burgundy maple/grape leaf motif screen-printed on a cream background. It is beautifully finished on all four sides with a machine-locked red accent stitch and a self-fringed border.
Included is a set of matching companion napkins in solid cream, featuring the exact same hidden-selvedge construction, red zig-zag locking stitch, and delicate "eyelash" fringe. (Note: Mid-century sets often featured solid coordinate napkins to accent the main print rather than an exact pattern Vintage Condition / New Old Stock (NOS). Absolutely pristine. No spots, no holes, no color fading, and no fraying to the fringe. It has never been laundered and still holds its stiff factory finish.
