Vitus Carbone 9 Carbon/Aluminum Frameset - NOSA heralded piece of cycling history-- the Vitus Carbone 9. One of the earliest inclusions of carbon into bicycle design, Vitus combined carbon tubing into it\'s proven aluminum framesets, setting the early building block of the carbon revolution in cycling!
This specific Vitus Carbone 9 model is a new-old-stock frameset from the late 1980\'s. Frame has never before been built up, but may display some light shelfwear from years of storage, though does come with original Rubis 23mm seatpost and tags! A great chance to own a legendary race frame in rare NOS condition!
Also, please note, Vitus frames do have a history of the original epoxy unbonding at the lugs over time. The Vitus frames we have are New Old Stock, never before built up or ridden, but it is the buyer\'s responsibility to monitor the frame\'s overall condition over the duration of ownership and intended frame use or application.Specifications
