Rare to have both fenders - "good" and "dented"
- Materials: Durable hard plastic body accented with die-cast metal trim, parts, and accessories.
- Size: Measures approximately 17 inches in length.
- Functionality: Includes a working mechanical jack capable of lifting the truck, an operational functional rear boom/crane assembly, and a spotlight beacon (often styled with a lens and bulb assembly).
- Accessories: Originally came packaged with an assortment of miniature tools, a spare tire, and frequently a companion plastic tow car (complete with interchangeable wrecked fenders or tires).
- Collectability: Produced during the 1950s golden era of American toy manufacturing (Hollis, NY / NYC), complete original sets with intact accessories and functional lights/jacks are highly prized by mid-century toy collectors.
The tow truck is in great shape (clean) for being 70+ years old. The car is also in great shape for its age. The box is in fair at best condition. While it is 70+ years old, it has tears in it.
