Up for sale is a vintage Yashica J-7 35mm film camera manual SLR kit. This bundle includes the highly desirable, fast Auto Yashinon-DX 50mm f/1.4 prime lens (M42 screw mount), along with its original leather lower protective case and a vintage patterned neck strap.
Functional Condition (Partially Tested)
Main Shutter: Fully operational! The shutter fires and operates normally
across standard speeds.
Aperture Blades: Excellent condition. The aperture blades are clean, completely dry, and entirely free of oil or grease. They open and close sharply.
Lens Glass: Clear vintage condition. No major fogging or heavy scratches. Focus ring turns smoothly.
Self-Timer: The mechanical delayed shutter setting/self-timer mechanism is currently stuck/non-functional.
Cosmetic Condition
The camera body and lens barrel show normal signs of cosmetic age and wear. The original leather case shows some peeling on the bottom surface but holds together well. Please inspect the high-resolution photos closely to confirm the exact physical condition.
