TWO LOOKS. ONE SERIOUSLY GOOD VINTAGE WOOLRICH.
Vintage Woolrich Style 17018 Reversible Hooded Jac-Shirt / Mackinaw Jacket, dating approximately to the late 1970s to early 1980s.
This isn't simply a wool jacket with a cool lining. It's genuinely reversible, with two completely wearable sides and two very different looks.
THE PLAID SIDE
Classic Woolrich heritage outdoor styling in a substantial 85% wool / 15% nylon blend. The earth-tone plaid combines forest green, cream, tan and warm rust/brown, giving it that unmistakable vintage Mackinaw look.
Features a button front, integrated drawstring hood, functional pockets and vintage two-hole buttons.
THE TAN SIDE
Flip it completely inside out and it becomes a neutral tan utility / mountain parka-style jacket.
This side is 65% polyester / 35% cotton, with a smoother, lighter-feeling finish and its own functional details. It gives the jacket an entirely different field coat / workwear look.
Basically: heritage wool Jac-Shirt on Monday, understated tan mountain jacket on Tuesday. Same coat hanger.

CONDITION
Excellent vintage condition with light, natural wear consistent with age.
The wool side remains substantial with beautiful texture and color, while the tan side presents very nicely as well. Any minor signs of age only add to the character of this approximately 40+ year-old piece.

VINTAGE / LABEL INFORMATION
Style 17018, WPL 6635, the period Woolrich label configuration, Woolblendmark labeling and construction are consistent with vintage Woolrich from this era.
Because the surviving label does not explicitly state a country of manufacture, I am not making an unsupported Made in USA claim based solely on the WPL number.
What we can say is that this is a fantastic surviving example of vintage Woolrich outdoor wear, and the reversible construction makes it considerably more interesting than your average vintage wool shirt jacket.
Two sides. Two completely different looks. One killer vintage Woolrich.
