Charming vintage wooden playing card box featuring a dark sailing ship design on the front and warm reddish-brown wood tones with dark trim.
The interior is divided into two card-sized sections and includes the original removable center divider with finger notches. Each compartment measures approximately 4 3/4” long x 2 1/2” wide x 1” deep, making it well suited for storing two decks of playing cards.
The box has attractive age-related character throughout, including surface wear, scuffs, and finish variation consistent with vintage use. Hinged lid opens properly. No maker’s mark was found.
