VINTAGE WILLIAM CLOUTIER WALKING BEAM HOT AIR ENGINE – LARGE 25\" MODEL
Impressive vintage model walking beam hot air engine by William Cloutier. This large-scale mechanical model measures approximately 25 inches tall and makes an outstanding display piece for collectors of antique and vintage model engines.
The engine is constructed on a green-painted wooden base with yellow vertical supports and a black metal walking beam. It features a large clear acrylic flywheel, aluminum cooling fins, metal cylinder with perforated heat shroud, and detailed mechanical linkage.
A separate metal spirit lamp/burner is included.
Also included is the printed manual titled:
“MODEL WALKING BEAM HOT AIR ENGINE BY WILLIAM CLOUTIER”
The William Cloutier attribution and accompanying manual make this an especially interesting example for collectors of handmade model engines and vintage mechanical 20\" long x 10\" wide x 25\" high.
CONDITION:Vintage pre-owned condition with substantial authentic age-related character. There is paint loss, scratches, oxidation, surface rust, discoloration, and general wear throughout. A white adhesive label remains on one of the yellow supports and is partially legible.
