i got these as a kid. i just discovered
them in my storage unit. so, i cannot confirm if they were ever used or not. but i have tried to take as many detailed photos as possible to help you make the judgement call.
but after doing some research, i gather these are an authentic matching pair (2 tires total) of original 1984 Edinger-era Team Associated RC10 rear knobby tires. first-gen with the GOODYEAR lettering and Wingfoot emblem molded into the sidewalls.
Outer diameter is exactly 2.25" inches and tread footprint width is exactly 1.25" inches (as shown in ruler photos).
vintage pre-owned and again, unsure of original usage, but they seem to be in pretty condition. The rubber remains pretty soft, squishy and pliable. without interfering too much with the current state they’re in, i’m trying to visualize inserting the wheel / rim. i don’t see that there’d be an issue. it stretches rather smoothly and i still don’t notice any micro-cracking (nor any dry rot throughout). Tread pins look pretty sharp / smooth. minimal to no asphalt wear.
one tire does have some kind of residue like a price tag was on it at some point but that seems cleanable i’m sure (pictured at the very end).
in any event, they are sold as is, as pictured. and i’m sure like any aficionado, you’d probably be able to spot what your looking for before you even read my first sentence lol.
