The watch runs when lightly shaken to wind the automatic movement.It has a screwdown crown,when you unscrew it you can only wind it counterclockwise.When you wind clockwise it tightens the crown (this may need service)If you pull the crown out more you can adjust the time.
The date changes after the hands go around 24 hours.
This may be a top loader watch where the movement is put through the front.We have not taken the movement out.

It does have some wear (fine marks,small plating nicks,scratches) on the case,band and crystal (has scratches)
The band is a newer expandable stainless see pictures for condition and measurements of the case and are many pictures of the watch,please see all the photos to determine the you have any problems with the item when it arrives please feel free to contact us,no need to open a case we will help resolve the he watch is running,As with any vintage mechanical watch it could need cleaning,oiling or service in the future.We can not guarantee the accuracy in the future.
