Vintage Signed Studio Pottery Plates | Stewart 1988 | Set of 2
Striking pair of vintage studio pottery plates featuring bold turquoise/aqua and deep green geometric designs. Each plate has a different but complementary pattern, making the pair especially appealing for decorative display.
The larger plate features radiating green stripes that converge into a graphic geometric pattern, while the smaller plate is decorated with large freeform spirals and sweeping curved lines. Both have a glossy pale turquoise glaze and gently irregular edges that contribute to their handmade studio pottery character.
Each plate is signed “Stewart 1988” on the reverse. The full identity of the artist has not been confirmed, so the pieces are being offered as signed studio pottery without further attribution.

CONDITION
Good vintage pre-owned condition. The front decorative surfaces remain glossy and vibrant.
There are areas of glaze loss/chipping along portions of the underside foot rims, as shown in the close-up photographs. The wear is primarily underneath and is not prominent when the plates are displayed from the front. Additional minor surface and glaze variations may be present and are consistent with handmade studio pottery and age.
