Vintage Schwinn Tricycle – c. Late 1940s to Early 1950s
Offered is a vintage Schwinn child\'s tricycle dating approximately to the late 1940s or early 1950s.
This tricycle has remained in my family since it was ridden by my father and aunt during the 1940s and 1950s. It has never been restored during my ownership and retains decades of honest wear and character.

Original \"Schwinn Approved\" molded rubber handlebar grips.
Original spring-mounted rubber saddle.
Original rubber pedal blocks.
Steel spoke wheels with solid rubber tires.
Pressed steel rear step platform.
Beautiful aged patina throughout.
The rubber grips and seat have been gently cleaned with mild soap and water only. No harsh chemicals or paint have been applied during my ownership.
Important Note: Based on the appearance of the finish, I believe a portion of the frame may have been repainted many decades ago, likely long before it came into my possession. I cannot verify when this may have occurred, so I am representing it as a possible older repaint rather than guaranteed original paint. The tricycle is being sold exactly as shown in the photographs.
The saddle shows age-related cracking, and there is expected oxidation, paint wear, and surface rust consistent with an approximately 75-year-old child\'s tricycle. These features contribute to its authentic vintage appearance.
This would make an outstanding display piece for a Schwinn collector, vintage toy collector, Americana collection, or nostalgic home décor.
