Vintage S-K / SK USA 2-Piece Half Moon Wrench Set – H1416 & H1820
Nice matched pair of genuine USA-made S-K half-moon box-end wrenches. These specialty curved wrenches are designed to provide access to fasteners in confined or obstructed areas where a conventional straight wrench may not fit.
Included:
• S-K H1416 – 7/16” × 1/2”
• S-K H1820 – 9/16” × 5/8”
Both feature 12-point box ends and the distinctive half-moon/curved design. SK literature describes these wrenches as providing improved access and specifically notes their usefulness for reaching exhaust-manifold fasteners.
This style is also commonly referred to in the tool market as an aircraft or aviation half-moon wrench because the compact curved design is useful for confined-access mechanical work. They are equally useful for automotive, engine, exhaust, industrial and general mechanical applications.
Condition:
Very nice pre-owned condition. Chrome finish remains bright with clear, crisp S-K USA markings. There are minor cosmetic/storage marks and some discoloration/light surface oxidation visible inside portions of the box ends. No obvious cracks, bends or major damage observed.
