Vintage Rocky Mountain Pac-Saw portable outdoor saw from Dubois, Wyoming, complete with its brown leather Rocky Mountain carrying sheath.
This rugged take-down saw was designed to provide a full-size cutting surface in a compact package that could easily be carried in a hunting or camping pack. The metal handles fold/position around the blade for use and allow the saw to be stored neatly in the leather case when not needed.
The handles are clearly marked:
“PAC-SAW WYO. Pend.”
“ROCKY MT. DUBOIS Pat.”
Includes the double-edge saw blade shown in the photos, providing different tooth patterns for various cutting applications.
The brown leather carrying case features the Rocky Mountain mountain logo and separate snap-secured compartments. The leather has developed a great vintage outdoor look from years of use and storage.
Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition. Saw blade and handles show scratches, staining, discoloration and general wear from use and age. Leather sheath shows scuffs, scratches, edge wear and some wear/fraying to the stitching. Snaps and components are included as pictured. No attempt has been made to clean, polish or restore the saw or sheath.
