This is a genuine Sears, Roebuck and Co. two-burner electric tabletop range, model 68292. One burner is rated at 550 watts, while the larger burner provides 1,100 watts. Each burner has its own adjustable control, making this a practical compact cooking station as well as an exceptionally cool piece of vintage kitchen design.
It would be perfect for a nostalgic camp or cottage, studio apartment, efficiency kitchen, workshop, dorm-style space, vintage camper with suitable electrical service, or a carefully curated retro kitchen. Unlike a modern black plastic hot plate, this one actually has a personality—and quite a loud, sunny one.

Condition
Extraordinarily clean vintage condition, appearing to have been used perhaps only once before being carefully stored for decades. The yellow enamel remains bright and glossy, the chrome presents beautifully, and the original cord is still clean and supple.
There is one tiny chip on the rear/side edge of the black Melatone-style trim, shown in the close-up photograph (see finger point pic), and a tiny shallow dent near the upper-left area of the chrome surface (see finger point pic). Minor age-related marks may be present, but there is remarkably little evidence of actual cooking use.
Used, tested, working.
