Vintage Ralph Lauren black knife-pleated maxi skirt in a substantial heavyweight woven fabric.
A beautifully constructed vintage Ralph Lauren skirt with exceptionally deep, sharply pressed knife pleats running around the entire garment. The generous amount of fabric creates wonderful volume, structure, and movement while maintaining a very clean, minimal silhouette when hanging straight.
The fabric is a dense, heavyweight black woven suiting material with a substantial hand and beautiful drape. It has the look and feel of a wool or wool-blend textile, but the original fiber-content label is not present, so the exact composition is unknown and has not been assumed here.
The skirt is unlined, allowing the impressive pleated construction to be seen from the interior. Finished with a narrow fitted waistband and side closure.
