Vintage Pro Boat Miss Elam Plus 1/12 Scale Nitro Hydroplane – PRB2900 – Snap-on Racing
Selling my vintage Pro Boat Miss Elam Plus 1/12-scale nitro hydroplane from the mid-2000s.
I received this boat new as a Christmas gift approximately 20 years ago. My grandmother purchased it through a Snap-on tool truck/dealer, which is why this example features the Snap-on Racing / Ellstrom graphics.
The boat has never been started or run. It has been stored since new and is being sold untested due to its age. I have intentionally not attempted to start the engine because I wanted to preserve its original unused condition.
This is the original nitro-powered version equipped with the Dynamite .15S water-cooled marine engine, tuned exhaust system, and original Pro Boat radio equipment.

The engine starter was also never used and was recently removed from its packaging for the first time for photographs.
Condition:
The boat itself is exceptionally clean for its age and has never been operated. There is some normal age-related discoloration of tubing, hardware, and other components from approximately 20 years of storage.
The original retail box is included but is in rougher condition and shows considerable storage wear, creasing, edge wear, and other age-related damage. Please review the photos carefully.
Because this is a vintage nitro-powered RC boat, any buyer intending to operate it should inspect and service age-sensitive components such as fuel tubing, seals, batteries, radio equipment, and other rubber or electronic components before attempting to run it.
Sold as a vintage collectible and untested due to age.
