Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic piece of vintage American fishing history. This primitive wooden handline fishing set comes complete with its original line winder, heavy braided cord, molded lead weights, and a striking two-tone wooden bobber.
This set is a wonderful example of rustic tackle folk art, featuring unique hand-carved markings and geometric etchings directly on the center face of the wooden spool. It was heavily used and loved, packed with incredible character and a gorgeous weathered patina that only comes with age and real open-water use.
