For your consideration, I present this fantastic two-piece collector lot of vintage Lionel Postwar O-Gauge Military Train Cars, straight out of the iconic Space & Military series from the early 1960s.
These pieces make an excellent addition to any postwar military layout or Lionel collection.
What’s Included in This Lot:
Lionel No. 6544 Missile Firing Car (1960–1964): Features the classic blue flatcar body with the gray multi-missile launching platform. White "MISSILE FIRING CAR" and "TLCX 6544" lettering are clear and highly visible.
Lionel No. 3830 U.S. Navy Submarine Flat Car (1960–1963): Features the matchingblue flatcar frame holding the gray removable "U.S. NAVY 3830" submarine.
Condition Details:
Cosmetic Condition: Both cars are in good, clean vintage shape with original paint, vibrant blue plastic bodies, and authentic lettering. They show light signs of age/play wear consistent with vintage toys (please see high-resolution photos for exact cosmetic details, as they serve as theprimary description).
Components: The wheels, metal axles, and operating knuckle couplers are fully intact on both cars.
Accessories Note: Missile Car: Does NOT include the small white rubber-tipped missiles (or change to: Includes X original/repro missiles). The manual red firing wheel dial turns freely.
Submarine: The submarine body is intact and in excellent condition. Operational Status: These items are being sold untested and as-is from a private collection.
