I bought this new and it worked properly the last time it was used. It has been boxed and stored indoors ever since. I no longer have a pack of 600 film on hand, so I can't power it up. This series camera uses battery power from the film pack so there is no way to run one without loading fresh film. So this unit is sold as-is and priced accordingly. One upside of this design is that there is no battery compartment so no used vintage condition with light dust and handling marks consistent with age — no cracks, no broken tabs, no damaged hinges.
Rainbow stripe is bright and fully intact. Front nameplate and OneStep 600 lettering are crisp and unworn.Film door opens and closes properly and latches securely. Rollers are straight and clean with no corrosion or dried chemical residue. Interior film-door label is fully legible.Flash hood flips up and down smoothly. Lens and viewfinder glass are clear.Original black neck strap is attached and in good shape. Tripod socket on the base is clean and undamaged.The rubber eyepiece cushion is missing from the viewfinder. The viewfinder itself is clear and fully usable. The rainbow-stripe OneStep is the most recognizable instant camera ever made, and it turns up constantly at weddings, in vintage-styled photo shoots, in dorm rooms, and in collections. Clean, honest, single-owner examples like this one are getting harder to find.
