This is a vintage Pfaltzgraff art pottery vase from York, Pennsylvania. It has a full round body, a tall straight neck and a rolled rim, finished in a glossy white/cream glaze. The base carries the impressed keystone mark with \"YORK\" and \"P,\" plus the shape number257.

Pfaltzgraff used this keystone mark on its early art pottery, made around the 1930s–1940s. That was long before the company became known for dinnerware like Yorktowne. The shape is simple and works in many settings: farmhouse, modern, a mantel or a bookshelf. It also holds fresh or dried stems well.

Condition

Good vintage condition, with no cracks or repairs. As shown in the photos:

• The foot is unglazed, with factory grit and roughness from firing.
• There\'s light surface wear consistent with age.
