About the Design:This piece is an exact reproduction of a 14th-Century A.D. Lead Pilgrim Badge originally recovered from the mud of the River Thames at Dowgate, London. The central motif depicts the bust of St. Thomas of Canterbury (Thomas Becket), surrounded by a beautiful decorative border of alternating circles and diamonds.
