Offered is a vintage 1941 Dodge passenger-car speedometer assembly, believed to be an original OEM unit. This came from an estate sale belonging to a gentleman who specialized in refurbishing and restoring automobiles from the 1930s and 1940s. The rear of the unit was marked by him "41 DODGE."
The speedometer features the distinctive 1941 Dodge 0–100 MPH black face, white numerals, gold/cream markings and original-style triangular pointer. The design matches surviving 1941 Dodge passenger-car speedometers.
The mechanical odometer currently shows approximately 65,962 miles.
Condition: Used unrestored condition. The metal housing has scratches, wear, paint loss and surface oxidation consistent with its age and previous use/storage. There is dust/debris visible behind the glass. The face and markings show age-related wear. The mounting brackets are present.
The speedometer has NOT been tested, so I cannot guarantee that the speedometer, odometer or internal mechanism functions correctly. It is being sold as an untested restoration/rebuild project or replacement component.
This would be an excellent candidate for someone restoring a 1941 Dodge D19/D20/D21 passenger car or looking for an authentic original instrument rather than a reproduction.

Important: The "41 DODGE" marking on the rear was present when I acquired the item and was made by the previous owner. I cannot independently document the specific vehicle from which this particular unit was removed.
