Vintage Natural Cognac Amber Polished Oblong Beads Graduated Beaded Necklace 21\" For Sale

Offered is this beautiful vintage necklace made from natural Baltic Amber beads, graduated in size and polished into an elongated oval / oblong shape.

Purchased from a local estate, the necklace dates from the mid to late 20th century and measures 21.5\" length with a total weight of 39.2 grams.

The beads range in size from 1/2\" length up to 1.25\" length for the largest bead in the center. They all test as natural amber and have a lovely translucence with some natural inclusions. The necklace fastens with its original amber screw barrel clasp and is in good vintage condition except for some stretching on the cord at the back, as shown in the photos.
