This is the first issue of Beckett Basketball published in March/April of 1990, featuring the all time great Michael Jordan on the front cover and Patrick Ewing on the back cover. In the days before the internet, magazines like these were the primary source of information for card collectors, providing full lists of individual cards comprising specific card sets, new rookie cards to look for, popular or high value cards to look for, and general current valuations of cards in list format. Collectors would have to manually look up each card in their collection and write down the valuation to track the value of their collections over time.
I found a box full of these magazines in my late father\'s collection. This stack of Beckett Basketball Issue #1 magazines were found in what was likely their original shipping box (see images). I transferred the magazines to protective polypropylene bags and they will be shipped in these bags protected by cardboard.
I numbered these magazines in an arbitrary order to keep them organized, see my other listings to evaluate them all. I see no creases, scratches, or signs of wear on copy #1, feel free to inspect the high-resolution scans.
