Up for sale is a beautiful vintage mid-century modern ceramic planter manufactured by the Nelson McCoy Pottery Company. This distinctive, highly collectible piece features an embossed Chinoiserie theme, highlighted by three raised medallion panels depicting the traditional Chinese Shou character—the symbol for longevity, good health, and long life.
The planter is finished in a rich, glossy mid-century avocado/olive green glaze with fine industrial speckling. Built with a classic footed rectangular bonsai-style shape, it serves as an excellent decorative display piece or a unique home for succulents and small indoor plants.
