Vintage The Martin Committee III Alto Saxophone, serial number 184559, dating to approximately 1953–1954 and made in Elkhart, Indiana, USA.
This is a classic American-made Martin alto with the distinctive engraved bell and vintage finish. The saxophone shows significant cosmetic wear, lacquer loss, oxidation, and patina consistent with its age. Please review all photos carefully for overall condition (please see all pic before the purchase).
The instrument appears complete, but I have not had it professionally serviced or evaluated, so it is being sold as-is. Pads, adjustments, corks, and other normal maintenance items may need attention before regular playing. It also very dirty.
A great candidate for a player, collector, restoration project, or vintage Martin enthusiast.
