Striking vintage Mancini signed abstract painting, measuring approximately 42” x 42” overall and presented in its original-style large square frame.
This impressive Mid-Century Modern piece features a dramatic black, gray and cream abstract composition within a large circular field, surrounded by a black velvet background. The monochromatic palette, oversized format and bold organic design give it a classic 1960s/1970s modernist look.
The artwork is clearly hand-signed “Mancini” in the lower-right corner, with the signature featuring a distinctive underline extending from the “M.”
Research into similar signed Mancini works has identified comparable large-format Mid-Century Modern abstract pieces, including examples utilizing black velvet presentation. Some similar works have been attributed to Dan (Daniel A.) Mancini, an artist associated with Jaru Art Products during the 1960s and 1970s.
IMPORTANT: This piece does not retain a gallery label, artist label, certificate, or other documentation on the reverse that independently confirms the artist’s full identity. For that reason, it is being offered as a vintage signed Mancini work, and no definitive attribution to Dan Mancini is being made.
