Vintage Louis Vuitton Alizé Travel Bag Brown
A much loved companion. I purchased it second hand 10 years ago, and have never traveled without it. I have used is primarily as a brief case/computer bag, and have then used it as a perfect weekender.
In need of some loving restoration (one of the handles needs repair), hence the reasonable price, but worth it - beautiful, stylish, sophisticated, and practical. I have no idea why they don’t still make them - it’s the most versatileand useful travel case of the Vuitton collection.
I never found an authentication number. I took it to LV in New York and they said it was genuine. Sometimes if there are no visible numbers (pre 1980 Vuitton used none) they gave me a few tips to verify authenticity: The \"O\" in Louis and Vuitton, The Hardware (zippers, locks, and metal loops on an authentic Alizé are made of heavy, solid brass), also thread color and spacing.
