Wonderful lot of three charming framed landscapes by Otto Van Thoren. All three are similarly framed:Ornate gilt frames.Oval shape with glass.Painted on copper sheet.Silky covering on back and back is held in place with tiny nails.Hand-painted and signed Van Thoren.As you can see from the photos, two of the paintings’ frames have significant damage and loss.The most intact frame measures approximately 7.5” x 10.5”.Two of the paintings have a European castle in the background.
