Wonderful oversized vintage garden gnome measuring approximately 16.5 inches tall.
This charming old fellow is pushing a wheelbarrow overflowing with colorful raised flowers and features a blue pointed hat, burgundy coat, full brown beard and wonderfully expressive hand-painted face.
The statue has a heavily weathered, timeworn finish with substantial paint loss, chipping, crazing and surface wear throughout. I have intentionally left him exactly as found—the aged finish gives this piece fantastic character and an authentic vintage garden/folk-art appearance.
The figure is hollow cast and weighs approximately 7 lbs 6oz. Material appears to be a heavy cast mineral/composition material, possibly cement/concrete; exact composition has not been confirmed.

There appears to be an incised marking/number on the underside. Maker and exact age are currently unknown, so no specific attribution is being made.
A fantastic statement piece for a cottage garden, porch, greenhouse, potting shed or collection of vintage garden ornaments. His wonderfully worn finish would be especially at home with cottagecore, English garden, primitive and folk-art decor.
