This is a Japanese woodblock print in the style of the famous ukiyo-e artist Tōshūsai Sharaku, depicting the Kabuki actor Segawa Kikunojō III as Oshizu, the wife of Tanabe Bunzō.The Artist: Tōshūsai Sharaku was an enigmatic Japanese printmaker whose active career lasted a mere ten months between 1794 and 1795.

While it isn't an 18th-century museum original, it remains a lovely woodblock or high-quality lithographic art reproduction of one of the rarest designs in Japanese art history.
