Vintage Japanese Sometsuke Blue & White Porcelain Landscape Tray Showa Period
Blue and white porcelain rectangular tray featuring a detailed Japanese landscape scene with mountains, trees, water, bridges, boats and birds. Decorative patterned borders surround the scene, accented by a narrow iron red rim. The tray has a substantial, heavy feel and measures 12" long × 8.5" wide. Free of damage. Underside bears an embossed maker’s mark; maker remains unidentified.
Comes with a 9" high white wood display stand, allowing the tray to be displayed upright on a tabletop, shelf or cabinet when not being used as a serving or decorative tray.
